  1. Back when my friend and I worked at McDonald’s, our staff meal wouldn’t let us buy a big breakfast meal because it was “too expensive” so instead we would buy the sausage mcmuffin meal, and then ask the kitchen aunties to change the round fried eggs into scrambled eggs, all under our manager’s noses.

  2. Wasn’t like this in the 90s tho. Big Breakfast was such a huge weekend ritual for me as a kid and it was much more affordable then (like $5.80 for a set) and portions were MUCH bigger than now. But yeah with the gradual price increment over the years, noticed this similarity to McMuffin with Egg and switched out.

  3. I mean, a big breakfast was basically a disassembled egg and sausage sandwich. Could try to find a pack of containers on Amazon, get the sandwich with no cheese, and take it apart in the container. Voila, you have a big breakfast!
